Addition to & renovation of 1940′s residence. As was typical in almost all residential construction prior to the 1960′s, this residence faced the street and ignored its back yard. This project turned the residence’s attention to its back yard to create an outwardly focused living area. The scope of the project was to renovate the kitchen, create an outdoor living area and expand the second floor to create a new master bedroom upstairs that opens to the back as well.
