This picture illustrates the relationship with the neighboring homes, respecting setbacks, entry components, materials and scale.
Located in historic Maple Ridge neighborhood, one of Tulsa's oldest and most prestigious, this project was conceived to replace a non-contributing structure on two lots with a pair of homes designed to integrate into the fabric of the neighborhood. Each home is two-story, full-brick with cast stone entry portals. The street scale is compatible as are the general forms but the houses are contemporary in their function and details. Both houses share a common driveway, providing additional land for each home. Both homes have fully walled outdoor courtyards with fireplaces. Completed 2006. Designed in collaboration with Pat Fox.
